BPI Certifications and a New Career

Friday, June 25th, 2010

As many mothers can tell you, when your last child starts school, you start thinking about going back to work. For many of us though, we have been out of the workforce for so long that we aren’t sure we whether we should go back to doing what we did before, or if we should seek out a new career. Either option is probably going to require a bit of training to catch up, so if you think you might be ready to try a new career field, why not consider the advantages of being an energy auditor by taking a BPI certification course.

Energy auditors, also known as building analysts, work in the weatherization field, helping homeowners, business owners and others come up with ways to make the buildings they own more energy efficient. During a training course, some students will have years of experience in the field, and others will be just starting out with BPI certification courses. But all will be like you, in that they will be seeking out training to help them with a new or current career. Training courses can generally be completed in a week, and are a prerequisite for many certifications. So if you’ve been thinking about a new career, why not find some more information about becoming an energy auditor.

Becoming an Energy Auditor Is Rewarding

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

My mom came home one day and told me excitedly, that I should become an energy auditor and that now is the perfect time to do so. I was more than happy to hear her out and told her that it would be kind of difficult since it needed a small investment and I was saving some money for my upcoming wedding. True to her word, she lent me some money and I made plans to attend the training in becoming an energy auditor. I was a bit shocked with how extensive and informative the training was. It covered a lot of areas on energy efficiency in homes, specialized testing equipment that helped reduced heating and insulation problems, including combustion gas testers, carbon monoxide testers and a lot more. The training was all about being certified as a professional home expert with expertise on energy efficiency, building and home standards, and how to use diagnostic energy assessment equipment.

Find the right training for your dog in NJ

Monday, May 3rd, 2010

ProDog Canine NJ Dog Training is offering a special promo for owners of recently adopted dogs and puppies in select areas of New Jersey. Shelter dogs and rescue groups qualify for this promotion as well. Proper and early obedience training is very important in keeping rescued dogs in their new homes. Most owners make the same mistake of allowing their dog too many freedoms which conditions the dog to think that this behavior is right.
